Early Intervention (EI)
|
With COVID-19 restrictions easing and vaccinations becoming more widely available to the community, we are pleased to share that we will begin to reintroduce in-person Early Intervention sessions via a statewide pilot that will kick off during the first week of April. The pilot program will last about a month and will allow us to learn and quickly pivot if any issues arise, ensuring we are well-positioned to continue providing services in person without disruption following completion of the pilot.

|
Prior to resuming in-person services, ESH will ensure employees are equipped with and trained on the proper use of PPE and understand proper infection screening and control protocols. We will soon be reaching out to your family to review your service delivery preferences.

We are excited to share that each month we will spotlight one resource you can use at home to increase learning opportunities for your child.
This week's resource:
Epic "The leading digital Library for kids"
The Epic website opens a world of books without having to buy or store them. With your free account, you get access to a wide range of choices from

fiction to non-fiction to comics. Using the site, you can also read books aloud to your child to help themlearn proper pronunciation and word meaning. Reach out to your child's teacher to see if they have an educator subscription — this makes many more books available to explore, and the teacher can assign books that tie in with what your child is learning in the classroom.
